Head Chef
Fine dining establishment in rural Missouri is seeking an experienced head chef. The head chef answers directly to the owners. Such person would be in charge of developing seasonal menus for its customers. In addition, such person would work closely with the manager in regard to daily operations of the restaurant and special events. The head chef would be responsible for all food purchasing and controlling food costs. The head chef would also oversee 5 to 7 kitchen staff employees and cooks.
Currently, the restaurant has a lunch and dinner menu. The ideal candidate would put together a menu that includes a variety of salads and sandwiches. Dining entrees must include various beef steaks, prime rib, chicken, fish, pork and pastas. The head chef would also be responsible for putting together daily specials and different weekend dining entrée specials.
