Digital Advertising Sales Manager
The Rubber City Radio Group (RCRG), a locally owned Akron based company, seeks a Digital Advertising Sales Manager (DASM) to provide strong leadership and management for the digital sales initiatives. This role will be the "Digital Coach," assisting both the Sellers and Management with digital strategies, within the company. The DASM will be considered the local "Expert" in digital advertising platforms and their deliverables to clients.
Responsibilities to include: · Coaching the Managers/Sellers on the world of digital ad sales on a regular basis via sales meetings, one-on-one meetings, and in the field. · Accompany Managers/Sellers on sales calls with existing clients or new prospects to determine their needs and to provide digital advertising solutions as needed. · Work with Managers/Sellers on best practices of prospecting for digital advertisers who have some mid to heavy usage of digital media. · Work with both the Senior VP/Sales and the Graphic Designer creating messaging for both literature pieces and digital pieces to target prospects. · Creating digital advertising solutions and proposals for clients/prospects for RCRG. · Continue to follow the trends of digital advertising best practices, platforms, and evolution. Also communicating those trends to the RCRG staff on a regular basis. · Analyze the most cost-effective ways to implement all digital offerings and work with any third-party vendors as necessary. · Help execute the digital marketing campaigns once contracted with clients. · The DASM will also work with some of the existing RCRG accounts regarding both radio and event sponsorships.
Requirements: · The DASM should be a college graduate with extensive knowledge of digital ad platforms and sales experience. · A proven track record for solid sales performance in advertising. · Someone who can multi-task, take direction, give direction, and work in an environment with numerous "irons in the fire" at any given time. · A true team-leader that can both motivate and educate a sales team from rookie to veteran.
