About Us Partners in English Language Learning is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization teaching adult English language learners in our region with trained volunteer tutors. We match each learner with a personal tutor, and together they determine hours and location that are mutually agreeable. Our Mission We help English language learners become thriving members of our community by offering one-on-one language tutoring, and building bridges that foster cross-cultural respect, understanding, and friendship.
PiELL Program Coordinator Position Description: This position reports to the Board President and is the only paid position, $15 per hour, working 6-10 hours a week. It is the PiELL primary point of contact for students, donors, volunteers, board members, and other organizations. This position performs all office operations and supports board members, tutors, and other volunteers. This position maintains the office hours which allow our library resources to be available for our tutors and assists the tutors as they come in for new materials. This position is responsible for updating our database, preparing thank you letters, organizing material for tutor training, performing our banking and post office needs.
