Research Technician Position in Medical Oncology
A research technician position is available in the Pachynski laboratory at Washington University School
of Medicine. Our work focuses on studying molecular and cellular mechanisms involved with leukocyte
trafficking in the tumor microenvironment, with a translational slant and, ultimately, the goal to
produce novel immunotherapeutics that can easily and quickly be translated into the clinic. We are
taking novel approaches by utilizing a number of delivery strategies (eg nanoparticles, viruses, fusion
proteins, etc.) to target various chemoattractants to sites of tumor. In addition, we study the neoantigen
expression in various tumor types in the setting of human clinical trials and combination
immunotherapies and collaborate with the broader Immunology community here at Washington
University.
Candidates with experience in immunology, molecular biology techniques, mouse tumor models and
flow cytometry are preferred.
