Program Operations Manager
Program Operations Manager at Open Sky, the Program Operations Manager is responsible for establishing, communicating, overseeing, and leading the Operations department’s focus, priorities, and vision. The Program Operations Manager supervises and manages program logistics for Open Sky’s Mancos operations facility, base camps, and field course areas in Utah and Colorado. The position manages program operations, logistics, systems, facilities, projects, field-based fleet vehicles, the food program, and student equipment and clothing. As a member of the Open Sky leadership team, the Program Operations Manager celebrates and embodies the Open Sky Culture Pathway, always demonstrating a high degree of professionalism. Key responsibilities include balancing organizational and departmental needs, providing inspired coaching and mentoring, investing in the development of others, and serving as a positive role model to foster a healthy team culture. The Program Operations Manager is also part of the Risk Management Committee and the Emergency Response Team. The work schedule is generally Monday-Friday, 40+ hours/week, with occasional weekend or after-hours duties. Occasional on-call availability is required, and other duties may be assigned. This position is eligible for Open Sky’s benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K) depending on employee classification and hours worked. Annual salary range $50,000.00-$55,000.00, actual starting wage commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for the Open Sky benefits package. Open Sky is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
