JOB TITLE: CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE, TEACHER 2020/2021 School Year Permanent, Probationary 180 Day Classified Position

LOCATION: BELL HILL & SCOTTEN BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

SALARY RANGE: As Per Classified Salary Schedule CD Assistant -Position Range: M Salary Start: Step 1 –Step 10 $14.00 -$17.32/hour. CD Associate Position Range: L Salary Start: Step 1 –Step 10 $14.36 -$18.91/hour. CDTeacher Position Range: C Salary Start: Step 1 –Step 10 $16.52 -$21.34/hour. Placement For New Employees To The District Ranges Between Step 1 and Step 3 Based On Experience.

BENEFITS: The Grass Valley School District offers qualifying employees an insurance package of medical, dental and vision coverage. District contribution for a full time employee is $8,580 annually. Prorated benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision) available at 50% FTE.

HOURS: Approximately 4.00 hours/day, 2:30 –6:30 pm Monday -Friday

REQUIREMENTS: GVSD seeks an individual who is energetic, dependable, has a strong work ethic, is self-initiated, and is a team player with the ability to work well with others.

•18 years of age

•High School Diploma or equivalent and/or AA/BA or pass the GVSD locally designed Highly Qualified Assessment for Teaching Assistants

•Minimum 6 ECE Units and ability to complete units within 6 months

•Experience with children
