Under direct or general supervision, provides public health nursing, services, instruction, health counseling, and guidance to individuals, families and groups regarding, disease, health conditions, public health and rehabilitation in a clinic setting or within and assigned area including homes, public and private schools and community; participates in Public Health and county-wide disaster response; may have responsibility for a specialized public health program independently or in conjunction with the PHN III or Director of Public Health Nursing, on a limited basis, the PHN III may exercise technical and functional direction to lower-level staff.
