Mailroom Inserter
The role of Mailroom Inserter is to place free-standing inserts into the daily newspapers for Chico Enterprise Record.
Responsibilities

Hand inserting free-standing inserts into the inserting machine.

Use the shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets

Use pallet jacks to move materials with the mailroom and warehouse

Supplying an inserting station “pocket” with approximately 100 inserts at a time.

Proper usage of a “jogging” table aligning all inserts perfectly prior to loading a pocket.

Work on the bindery machine to load signatures

Loading mail pieces into the mail machine and gathering address pieces off of the conveyor

Responsible for daily clean up of the mailroom
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be a team player, provide timely support and take directions from your supervisor.

Good communications skills.

Positive, energetic personality.

This job operates in a fast-paced, production environment using inserting equipment.
