Graphic Designer - REMOTE
Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for implementing the vision of the Senior Director and CRD Project Managers to develop visually appealing and engaging deliverables, data visualizations, and infographics for public, private, and nonprofit partners across northwest Ohio. Additionally, the graphic designer is responsible for using their artistic vision to develop marketing, social media, and web content to communicate the mission, capacities, and work of CRD to external and internal constituencies. Reporting to the Senior Director, the Graphic Designer works with CRD staff on a project basis and is responsible for meeting project deadlines and providing final materials to appropriate resources.
This position will be a remote position open to Full-Time US Residents authorized to work within the US. The position is required to work primary during US EST business hours.
Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design and develop deliverables, data visualizations, and infographics for CRD projects
- Develop marketing and social media communications
- Work with CRD staff to develop artistic vision for deliverables during project proposal and kick-off meetings
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
- Thorough understanding of design principles, organization and attention to detail.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of project management software
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. Degree must be conferred at the time of application.
The following experience is required:
- 1-year experience in graphic design (Graduate assistantship time will be considered. Two years of graduate work will be accepted as one year of professional work)
Salary
Full-time, grant funded administrative staff position available working remotely within the US. Administrative Grade Level 353. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Full benefit package available.
