Clinical Coordinator
The County of Alpine announces an employment opportunity for Clinical Coordinator, Behavioral Health Services, 80% FTE Salary Range U3: ($5,694-6,285) per month Final Filing Date: Thursday, November 4, 2021. Covid 19 Vaccine Mandated Under general supervision, will function in a lead role with the clinical staff and will be the primary position for conducting clinical assessments, diagnosing clients, and delivering therapeutic services at the clinic and in the wellness center(s). Will work in close coordination with the Behavioral Health Director to ensure that services are delivered in a manner consistent with the principles of the Mental Health Plan. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Valid California Professional License in one of the following: a) Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience providing individual, group and family treatment. b) Marriage and Family therapist (MFT), with a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience providing individual, group and family treatment. c) Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D., Psy.D) with a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience providing individual, group and family treatment. Completion of clinical supervision training as required by the licensing board within one year of start date.
Experience: Minimum of five years (5) experience working in the California Public Mental Health system as a clinician. Minimum one year (1) experience in clinical personnel management.
Other Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 80% FTE exempt position in a five step salary system with advancement upon satisfactory completion of a one year probationary period and annual increases thereafter. o Health Insurance: County provides medical, dental and vision coverage for employees with co-payment by employees, dependent upon family status. o Vacation: Accrued at the rate of 6.67 hours per month, or 10 vacation days per year. o Sick Leave: Earned at the rate of 8 hours per month. o Administrative Leave: 40 hours per year o Holidays: 15 paid holidays per year. o Retirement: Participation in the California Public Employee Retirement System (PERS), 2% at 62 plan for New Members o Deferred Compensation: Voluntary deferred compensation program offered. o Alpine County is a drug, alcohol and smoke-free workplace.
